Green..sprouting hope..

.I, like everyone else, have always believed green is the colour of HOPE. This was conceived during one of those really bad phases that one goes through once in a while...a time of dejection, directionlessness...and suddenly 'green' emerged from nowhere and took shape on its own.. (watercolour on paper)

  9. Hey, Atreyi! It’s so beautiful… And different connotations stem from it taking the mind from one plane to another… The hanging roots are quite suggestive… Reminds me of the verdant lines by Dylan Thomas:

“And as I was green and carefree, famous among barns/ About the happy yard and singing as the farm was home”
